Doug Norton
Hailing from the musical heart of New Orleans and raised in Alabama, Doug Norton’s saxophone journey began at a young age. With a foundation built in middle school and further developed at the University of Montevallo, Doug’s musical influences range from jazz to funk to rock, shaping his unique, versatile sound.
Over the years, Doug has shared the stage with a wide array of artists, including Chairman of the Board, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and Iration, bringing his signature saxophone style to countless performances. He also worked as an arranger for New Power Generation following Prince’s passing, contributing to the continuation of the iconic sound that shaped generations of music lovers.
Today, Doug is a vital member of Chicago Rewired: The Premier Chicago Tribute and Queen City Band, a lively variety group that keeps the party going. As an arranger, composer, and music video producer/editor for Chicago Rewired, he’s deeply involved in every aspect of the band's creative process, bringing his vision and energy to every performance and project.
