I recently got married and we had DJ Todd (through SSS) as the DJ and Emcee at our wedding. He did an amazing job of playing the eras of music we requested and keeping the vibes high! He was also very attentive to our needs and making sure things were prepared ahead of the wedding, but also going how we wanted them to during the wedding. Upon meeting, we could tell he was extremely down to earth and was attentive to the specific wants for our big day. He made sure that not a detail was missed! From pre-ceremony to grand exit, he blended the music so well and did a great job not only playing our favorite jams but reading the room as well - which helped get our group of all ages up on their feet and dancing the whole night long! We enjoyed working with Split Second Sound for our wedding! Between the initial meeting and the month leading up to the wedding, we had no reason to contact them, and when it came time to the final details, their online pre-set forms were ready to go and waiting for us to fill out for our DJ. The afternoon of the wedding was a great success too. We had a special song request for when the officiant said “you make kiss the bride”, and the DJ did it perfectly! We received so many compliments from friends that they got goose bumps when they heard the song, so thank you for giving us everything! During our first dance, I dislocated my knee, and I knew I had two choices: either feel the feels of the realization and the pain and implications of a dislocated knee for the honeymoon, or let it be a tomorrow problem, enjoy the night, and make the most of it. So when it came time to dancing, I was posted up on the dance from all night with crutches, and never left! It took a minute for the DJ to find his groove with the crowd, but once he did, the party was more than I could have asked for with cold sparklers, uplights, and Pom poms! We had the best time partying the night away, thanks to Split Second Sound and DJ Todd.

DJ Todd was excellent for our event! The music was perfect for our 10th annual Bark and Brew Red Carpet event. The sound system was great and the people in attendance complimented the sound and the music. Thank you for helping to make this event successful for The Splashpaw Foundation.

My String Ensemble (Summit Strings) had the pleasure of working with DJ Todd Havens [DJ TNICE] with Split Second Sound at a wedding at Champagne Manor in Union County. I had brought a sound system for the classical trio, but I had a bad cable. DJ Todd kindly accommodated us plugging our string mics into his sound system. We had not communicated or met until arriving onsite at this same wedding ceremony and he went above and beyond helping us! Do yourself a favor and if you need any live sound DJ services … hire DJ Todd with Split Second Sound. He went above and beyond in every aspect of the event … including helping us (a fellow wedding vendor) … which he did not have to do.

BEST DJ EVER!! We had DJ Todd for our wedding, and he was amazing from start of the process to the wedding night!! Split Second Sound is great with communication, and they truly want to make your event customized and special. DJ Todd played exactly what we envisioned without us even needing to list specific songs—we gave him a vibe/vision and he perfectly curated it! Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE NIGHT from 5:30-10:30 nonstop party. I cannot recommend SSS and DJ Todd enough!!!

Todd MADE our Wedding!! He knew exactly the songs to play at the right times to set the mood and get people dancing. We used the Cold Sparkler machines and Todd set them off at the perfect times to make the night magical. So many of our guest complimented the music. They said they have never had so much fun/danced so much! Cannot say enough good things!

Todd “DJ T-Nice” Havens did an incredible job at our wedding! He was easy to work with and very accommodating for the different things we wanted to do. We had several key moments where his timing and music had to be spot-on, and it was! No awkward silence or waiting for him to hit play, never missed a beat (yes the pun is intentional)! We had pyro, uplights, secret surprises that people with access to the itinerary couldn’t know about, and he made it all happen! He did a flawless job with his GREAT music selection for the dances and downtime while pictures were being taken. I’d give more stars if I could. Definitely recommend Split Second Sound and DJ T-Nice!!!

Todd Havens is amazing! Not only had terrific music choices, but is an all around great human. We cannot recommend him more and will most definitely use him again!
