Rasheed

My husband and I used DJ/MC Rasheed for our wedding and he was awesome! He captured the vibe of our wedding and had everyone on the dance floor. It truly was an amazing night. A good DJ makes a great party! 10/10 recommend!

Rasheed was tremendous!

To put it simply, DJ's Derek and Rasheed made our wedding one of the most amazing nights of our lives! From the very beginning of this whole wedding planning process I have always said the most important thing to me was that everyone had an amazing time, and because of them I was able to accomplish that. From the time Rohan and I had our meeting with Vinny (the founder of Split Second Sound) I had very high hopes for my wedding and reception, and they did not disappoint. Derek reached out to us a few weeks before our wedding and he basically made our itinerary for us (very much appreciated since we did not have a wedding planner and had no clue what we were doing) and he helped keep everything running smoothly for that entire evening. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and the fact he was so on top of things and kept us in line was amazing since that last week Rohan and I were overwhelmed and just all over the place. (He even reminded me to print out my place cards!) He seriously went above and beyond. Then the ceremony and all started and the rest was history. We felt like we didn't really have to do much because he ran the entire evening. We literally felt like guests at our own wedding... and it was great! The music was amazing and the dance floor felt like it was never empty. Rohan grew up in Botswana so he had requested they play some Kwaito music and they even were able to incorporate that into our reception. At the end of the night we basically had to make people leave because everyone had such a great time. I just can't even express how much I appreciate the work they put into making our day so wonderful. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone planning a wedding!

Split Second Sound was great to work with from the start. We chose the package that included the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We chose DJ Rasheed and he did not disappoint. He was able to meet with us before the wedding and walk through our plans for the big day. He's very easy going and professional. He is engaging but not to the point where its too much. He definitely exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. Everyone had a blast and we were on the dance floor all night. I would highly recommend Rasheed from Split Second Sound.

Just a note to say we were very happy with how Rasheed ran the evening. He went out of his way to keep guest engaged and moving. Was all that we wanted and more. Thanks, Rasheed.

I definitely enjoyed Rasheed Owens as our DJ recently at the Callonwood Adult Spring Dance on May 2, 2015. He did a wonderful job of mixing up the tunes and also had very good interpersonal communication skills with all ages of dancers. He even got out there and showed us how to do a number of line dances. I would recommend using him at any future function we have.  Also, he was professionally dressed and represented Split Second Sound excellently. He was on time and very open to suggestions and tried to satisfy all the requests that he had from us.

Split Second Sound was amazing to work with from the very beginning.  The moment we met with Steve and Rashaad, we knew we had nothing to worry about.  Our reception/party was in good hands.  All our our guests have called us and said they had an amazing time and that the music was perfect.  The only downfall was that we didn't plan for a longer reception, we could've danced all night. :)  The introductions and MC work was tremendous and memorable.
