In search of some positivity to add to your event or special day? Kristi is here for you! Kristi always says, “I am all about positivity and I believe in putting positivity out into the universe and what better way to do that than through music?” This shows tremendously through the fun and outstanding work that she does. Kristi was born into music. Her father is a musician and her mother has constantly surrounded her with music. In 2007, Kristi began DJing and MCing herself, helping her mother at events and weddings. Some of Kristi's most recently attended event locations have included Optimist Hall - Charlotte, NC, The Omni Grove Park Inn - Asheville, NC, Carmel Country Club - Charlotte, NC, Northstone Country Club - Huntersville, NC, Lowe's Motor Speedway - Concord, NC, and many more!

    We booked Split Second Sound through our wedding venue, Hotel Concord. Kristi, our emcee/DJ, was great. Her experience at weddings really showed. In addition to the questionnaire that Split Second provided, Kristi booked a personal call with us a few weeks before our wedding and got to know us better and gave us some great tips and guidance for the reception. We used a string quartet for our service and cocktail hour, but Kristi even had the forethought to get the quartet's song list, just in case something happened to them. We really appreciated that commitment to making sure our day was great and we had nothing to worry about.

  • Split Second Sound and DJ Kristi were absolutely amazing to work with and I'm so happy she was the DJ for our wedding! We had a few issues with wedding planning during COVID but DJ Kristi and Split Second Sound were easy to work with, helpful, and accommodating. One of my priorities for the wedding day was to have fun dancing with friends and DJ Kristi made sure the dancing never stopped! From the hilariously fun intro of me and my husband to our last private dance DJ Kristi and her team made sure my husband and I had the best time.   • Kristi was the BEST! From the first time we spoke with her on the phone and talked about what our vision was for the music for the reception to the very last song danced on the dance floor. ..It was perfection! People would've stayed there another hour and danced if we could have! She had such knowledge of the music people wanted to hear and kept playing so everyone would stay on the dance floor!

    She is a dream to work with and wouldn't hesitate for a minute to have her DJ/Mc our next event!
