Gabriel Bello
1st Generation American/Dominican Gabriel Bello is an award winning multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer, audio engineer & cancer survivor. His self-titled Smooth Jazz album debuted at #1 on Billboard Magazine Smooth Jazz chart and stayed there for 11 consecutive weeks in 2011.Additionally, Gabriel’s debut release unseated Michael Buble’ from the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Jazz Chart. Gabriel’s abilities earned him a 2012 SESAC Honors Award for album sales and publishing, and found him producing, mixing, mastering, and performing with artists like Pastor James R. Adams and the Abounding Life Church of God in Christ’s on their release “Times of Refreshing” which ranked #4 on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart. During his time in Nashville, he produced two Billboard #1 singles(Crystal Dove, Temar Underwood) and performed/collaborated with a range of artists & companies including Alvin Slaughter, Gary Oliver, Ron Kenoly, Geron Davis, Christ Church Choir, Jentzen Franklin, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts, 19 Management(American Idol) & Sony Records. Just before leaving Nashville to pursue a solo career, Gabriel was one of two finalists to be musical director for the first tour of American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and was also approached to be American Idol Finalist Kellie Pickler’s musical director.
His first Christian/Gospel album & second solo release “Miracle”, named after the miraculous birth of his first child, saw him sharing the stage with top CCM & Gospel Artists Israel Houghton, Tye Tribbett, Tasha Cobbs & Kierra “Kiki” Sheard. He has been working on and off with world renowned Elevation Worship as a featured saxophonist, horn section leader and arranger/writer for brass/winds. Gabriel tours and performs internationally with his tribute shows “Natural Wonder - The Music of Stevie Wonder” & “Bless The Rains - The Ultimate Toto Tribute Experience”.
