Matthew V was the DJ for our wedding and we could not have been assigned a more perfect DJ! Prior to the wedding he made great suggestions on key songs and communicating with him was a breeze. He kept the night flowing, made any announcement we needed with clarity, and was amazing with entertaining our guests. The music he played all night matched the experience we wanted for our night. I got so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved him too! My niece really loved that he let her get behind the scenes. Not only was it a major highlight of her night, but for so many of our guests. Highly reccomend!

I recently got married on June 28, 2025, and booked DJ Matt V from Split Second Sound... and let me tell you, he was incredible! From the very start, Matt was easy to talk to, professional, and genuinely fun. He handled every announcement right on cue, and kept the energy up all night. We had an intimate wedding with under 75 guests, but you’d never know it by looking at the dance floor! It was never empty! DJ Matt V got even our most reserved family members up and dancing. He wore the kids out with fun music and energy (and every parent there silently thanked him). At one point, he even let my little boy hop behind the DJ booth for a split second *ba dum tss* I’m not usually one to dance, no matter how many drinks I’ve had but I woke up sore the next day from how much fun I had on the dance floor. That says it all. If you're browsing the website trying to figure out which DJ will bring your celebration to life, stop scrolling. DJ Matt V is your guy. He absolutely won’t disappoint!

We just got married last week and had Matt as our DJ, and all I can say is WOW!! He was absolutely incredible. He played amazing music the entire night, kept the dance floor alive, and truly made our day that much more special. I had multiple people coming up to me after our wedding telling me how fun the dance floor was and asking who we had used. Truly couldn’t recommend them enough!!

Split Second Sound was by far one of the best investments we made for our special day! Everyone was very professional as the wedding day approached and communication was great. We had Matt V. who was an absolute rock star. He was not only one of the most genuine people but was the best DJ I've heard. I could not keep track of how many people raved about the music and the amount of banger tracks that were played. Our crowd was very lively and Matt picked up on that, he proceeded to match the energy and not play any slow songs and we kept this going all night. I would 100% book with Split Second Sound and special request Matt V. for any type of DJ needs!

Split second sound and specifically our DJ Matt V did a fantastic job at our wedding! Everything from sound equipment to keeping the dancefloor full was done perfectly. Our DJ even incorporated some of our more eclectic music into the evening without taking away from the upbeat atmosphere. I would highly recommend Split Second Sound. We hired them for our wedding and it went great. We ended up hiring Matt V as our DJ and MC. Matt was very informative and helpful and definitely took our suggestions. He did a great job keeping the reception flowing and when it was time to dance, we turned up!

Split Second Sounds was amazing from start to finish. Their company as a whole is admirable. I was very indecisive in the beginning and they were kind and understanding. I was originally assigned to DJ Todd with no MC. We had a call and chatted for a while about all of my expectations and he was great! Unfortunately, a few days before the wedding, Todd had to be replaced due to some serious health issues. They assigned my wedding to DJ Matt and included an MC at no extra cost to make sure the day ran smoothly. They made the transition quickly and seamlessly. I didn’t feel stressed at all! I chatted with Matt for about an hour going over the timeline. An hour. That is all Matt had to go off of and the day went PERFECTLY. We had a party crowd and my only request was to keep the dance floor full all night. DJ Matt and MC Cliff were phenomenal. It was the party of my dreams!!! There were all ages on the dance floor all the way up until the last song. The photo below was the last song of the night and something I will remember forever.

Matt V did great with the music!!!!! It wasn't communicated to me that there would be a separate MC guy so that was a surprise to me the day of the wedding. The MC messed up a few times and didn't seem like he knew the timeline very well but overall he did a good job! Matt was super easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. I would definitely use him again!
