DJ Nikki "NikkiTheKee"

“It's DJ NikkiTheKee AKA The Key! Don’t matter what you call me long as you’re calling me!” Her catchy quote along with her performance has allowed her to be consistently called on to DJ for over 14 years. 

A Greensboro native who graduated from Winston Salem State University, DJ NikkiTheKee moved to Charlotte in 2011 to pursue her music career. While writing and performing her own music, she began taking an interest in the person responsible for playing her music…. the DJ. One night while hosting a party she had to fill in for her DJ and with a quick tutorial in 5 mins she had the party rocking nonstop and that’s when she knew she had something special on the turntables. 

Between 2013 to present day, DJ NikkiTheKee has elevated her DJ career by spinning records for Power 98 FM Radio, concerts with grammy nominated artist “DaBaby”, while having the privilege to DJ private parties featuring grammy award winning artist Fantasia Barrino. She has also deejayed numerous events from Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) events, weddings, corporate events For EWomenNetwork to birthday parties, and nightclubs. 

The best word to describe DJ NikkiTheKee would be "mixologist". She enjoys playing various genres of music such as Funk, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Country, House Music, EDM and many more." I take pride in my blends and transitions, and enjoy watching the anticipation of the crowd evolve from one song to the next all with smooth transitions! Bringing the past with the current through mixes is what I love to do! With each event, I look to raise the bar, show people a great time, and create Kee memories within a Split Second that last a lifetime".
