Kaylon is originally from Jamaica and was introduced to a variety of genres including reggae, hip hop, house music and even country. DJs in Jamaica have been using all genres to entertain crowds for years which is one of the reasons he loves so many different types of music. Music is a great way to unite people and being the DJ who unites the crowd and keeps them entertained is his passion.After leaving Jamaica, he spent some time in Connecticut where Kaylon DJ’d for a number of different events. Since moving to Charlotte in 2021, Kaylon has been working with Split Second Sound to bring that same love for music and ability to merge different genres in Charlotte. His  goal for every event is to keep people engaged and having a memorable time. For the future he would love to be able to play music across the world that makes people come together and enjoy each other’s company. In his freetime, Kaylon loves exploring  the city with his family and watching Charlotte's sports teams.
