Perry Tankard II, CEO of In The Mix Productions and Partner of Paravel Management, has been in the music industry for the last 20 years. He has managed artists, tours, and shows. Perry is currently managing a number of artists including Royce Lovett, an artist from NBC’s The Voice who has done Ted Talks and is dubbed as a lyrical activist; Branan Murphy, who had a #1 hit on the Billboard charts in the summer of 2021 entitled “This World is Not My Home”; and Dj Pdogg, a former DJ for Grammy winning artist Lecrae. Perry started his professional career working in college radio at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he studied Broadcasting. During this time, he managed artists, promoted events, produced music videos, and managed a recording studio. He eventually was chosen to work for ESPN Radio. Perry is an activist that prides himself on giving back to his local community through a variety of mentoring programs. His focus targets emerging artists to help them understand the new music business model. He serves as a consultant, while mentoring young people in music, deejaying, and production. This allows the mentees to get hands-on knowledge and experience in the industry with the support of someone who has been in the industry.
