Clifford

Born and raised in Atlanta, Clifford started his musical journey when he was 5 when he discovered a Reggae record collection belonging to his dad. It was this moment that he knew he wanted to be a part of "the scene". He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 1994. In 2003, his mom and dad bought him his first set of turntables at the age of 14. His first big events included Sequoia High Prom '10 and Tulsa University Jamboree. In 2013, Clifford joined Recordings, who helps distribute his first internet release in 2009. He has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft ever since and is awesome. Some of Cliff's most recently attended event locations includes Overlook Barn - Banner Elk, NC, Vesuvius Vineyardss - Iron Station, NC, Historic Salisbury Station - Salisbury, NC, Whitehead Lodge - Charlotte, NC, The Oaks Events - Midland, NC, and many more!

  • Split Second Sounds was amazing from start to finish. Their company as a whole is admirable. I was very indecisive in the beginning and they were kind and understanding. I was originally assigned to DJ Todd with no MC. We had a call and chatted for a while about all of my expectations and he was great! Unfortunately, a few days before the wedding, Todd had to be replaced due to some serious health issues. They assigned my wedding to DJ Matt and included an MC at no extra cost to make sure the day ran smoothly. They made the transition quickly and seamlessly. I didn’t feel stressed at all! I chatted with Matt for about an hour going over the timeline. An hour. That is all Matt had to go off of and the day went PERFECTLY. We had a party crowd and my only request was to keep the dance floor full all night. DJ Matt and MC Cliff were phenomenal. It was the party of my dreams!!! There were all ages on the dance floor all the way up until the last song. The photo below was the last song of the night and something I will remember forever. - Demi
