Carlos aka "DJ ChuckC" moved to the Charlotte area from NJ/NY in 2017. With his two girls and one boy at home, Carlos loves to finish each day asking “what were you grateful for today?” Finding his list growing each day. Along with being a DJ/MC on staff, he also serves as a percussionist for all of Split Second’s weddings and events. He has over eight years of experience in Bi-Lingual MCing/DJing for private events of all sizes ranging from patio entertainment to weddings; playing all genres of music. His love for music began with him playing Latin percussion at private events and social clubs. Being just 15 years old at the time, Carlos was pulled onto the stage to perform with Carlos Santana’s band Malo. Ever since, his love for performing and creating joy through music has continued to grow. After college, he learned that the best way to keep people motivated and on the dance floor, was to make sure that the DJ and MC are on point. Carlos excels at making sure that every event goes smoothly in this way. Some of Chuck's most recently attended event locations have included Hilton Cancun - Cancun, Mexico, Le Maridien Charlotte - Charlotte, NC, Pine Lake Country Club - Mint Hill, NC, Asheville Country Club - Asheville, NC, Hyatt Centric Charlotte Southpark - Charlotte, NC, The Exuma Outpost - Forbes Hill, Bahamas, and many more! He’s a chameleon, open to learning new things and willing to adapt to any situation. His constant goal is to make every event the best it can be. Carlos’ work ethic is parallel to none, putting forth the same effort when nobody is watching as when hundreds are watching. Following the wise words of his father: “there’s no shame in working hard, no matter what you’re doing.” Carlos is here to make your event special, not just as your DJ, MC, or percussionist, but as your friend.
