Brian B. is originally from NYC in Queens and attended UConn to study engineering. He started DJing at college house parties and started working on his craft in 2009 where he eventually started doing college Thursdays at the local UConn bar. Brian B is well versed in private events, nightlife in Charlotte, and various neighboring cities/states. Brian B began in the entertainment industry as technology has always intrigued him and loved how DJs were able to manipulate songs even more so when scratching. He has also enjoyed & has been impressed by the evolution of records to the digital age as it has held vital to creating a spectrum of moods for people. "Music makes the world better." Some of Brian's recently attended event locations as one of Split Second Sound's DJs have included North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences - Raleigh, NC, The Infinity Ballroom - Charlotte, NC, The Quarry at Carrigan Farms - Mooresville, NC, Charlotte Metro Event Venue - Rock Hill, SC, Ballantyne Country Club - Charlotte, NC, and many others! Brian enjoys listening to reggaeton, dembow, hip-hop, reggae/dancehall, house, classical, 80s, 90s, and jazz. His favorite types of events are the ones where he is able to showcase his mixing skills, the crowd has a great time dancing, and where clients can share their electric taste in music. Brian's goals for the future are to gain more experience in music production and start up his own DJ academy. Some fun facts about Brian B is that he can make the best homemade steaks you will ever have, he's a huge baseball fan (NY Mets), and he has DJ'd in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
