Jonny and Kyle were GREAT!  They were engaging with the group and everyone enjoyed the music.  I most appreciate the “special” songs that Jonny was able to pull off.  I asked the “winners” of my awards ceremony to provide me with 2 of their favorite songs.  I asked Jonny if he could take the list of “winners” and their songs, pick “1” and play it as “they” walked up and back from getting their gift/award.  I was told by my staff “You cannot pull this off.”  Well, guess what?  Jonny helped me “pull it off.”  This was a real crowd pleaser.  He also helped me surprise 2 of the Executives who were doing the main talking, by playing their favorite song as they were going to the stage.  I could not have asked for a better night and I owe it all to Jonny and Kyle. 

I have used Jonny for at least 4 years for this event and would definitely recommend anyone to use him and Split Second Sound for their next event.

Words cannot describe how happy Dave and I both were with how well the night went. Jonny created a wonderful atmosphere and gave us the foundation for a wonderful night.  There was constantly a huge group on the dance floor and when we felt the mood changing he quickly transitioned into another song.  We had so many people tell us how wonderful the DJ was and it was the best party/wedding they had been to.  We are also very happy we changed our lighting to include 16 uplights it gave the room a completely different fell and added to the wonderful atmosphere in the room.

Jonny of Split Second was amazing!  I was really nervous about the services but he put me at ease immediately. His love and knowledge of Latin music was great which helped in a half American and half Latin wedding.  He was so attentive during the whole process and double checked many times so everything would be perfect, and it was.  He was upbeat and had a great personality.  He played great music which had everybody dancing!   He was an amazing MC as well, which was essential in our wedding since we did not have much time.  He made the whole wedding run smooth.  Thank you Jonny!
 

Jonny was amazing. Having a great DJ was very high on our list of wedding priorities and we chose Spit Second Sound because of all the recommendations we received from other vendors. On our initial meeting with Vinny you all explained your goal was for a wedding experience and not simply to play music. Jonny delivered this and more. Our guests were 50/50 from in town and out of town and all of them complimented Jonny on his DJing. He kept almost all of our guests, young and old, on the dance floor for 2+ hours. After all of the weddings I have been to, I have never seen this. My group of college girlfriends, who love to dance, were ecstatic that he played every single song they asked him to play. You all were worth every penny. I will highly recommend you all to anyone I know getting married.  We just wanted to have fun and you all helped us achieve this! Thank you for making our wedding so special.

Jonny was great! From our first meeting with him to the last song that was played at our wedding; he was hands-on with everything! His energy was awesome and all of our guest have not stopped talking about the dancing at our wedding. Thank you (and your partner) so very much for your hard work last night at our daughter’s wedding.  Ashley and Porter both loved having you as the DJ/MC.  In fact, everyone had a blast!!  We’ve gotten nothing but the highest compliments.  You kept the party going as well as the dance as the evening progressed.  You played a major part in the reception.  We were especially impressed to see you visiting each table during the dinner hour.  Did you have time to eat?! We were thrilled to have chosen Split Second Sound! Again, thank you a zillion, and if we are ever in need to a DJ/MC in the future, you would most certainly be on the very top of our list!

I wanted to take a few minutes to try and express to you how wonderful our experience was with Split Second Sound.  Your company had been recommended to us by a friend who used your services for their wedding.  From the moment my daughter and I meet first with Vinny, we knew that we had come to the right place.  Vinny was very professional at explaining the difference between a "DJ" and an entertainer, assured us that all the employees at Split Second Sound were professionals and knew how to make a wedding reception everything we wanted.  He assured me that they would not allow for any guest "creating any embarrassing moments" by requesting music that was not approved by the bride and groom.  At my eldest daughters wedding the DJ allowed for some very inappropriate music and actually participated in suggestive dancing that was unacceptable and embarrassing.  I wanted to make sure that didn't happen at my youngest daughter's wedding.  Vinny explained to me that Split Second Sound would sit down with us before the reception and go through the entire play list and that nothing would be allowed that wasn't approved by the bride and groom. Our wedding reception was on Friday, July 8th and the lead MC/DJ was Jonny.  Jonny called my daughter several days before the reception to discuss her desires for the music and flow of the reception.  She explained to him that the majority of the people at the wedding would be between 40 - 55, that her family loved music and to dance, the grooms family was very conservative and didn't dance at all.  She wanted to make every one feel comfortable and have a great time.  That is exactly what Jonny did.  When my husband and I walked in, we knew that the reception was going to be great.  The music was perfect, the MC'ing was fantastic, and the dancing was so much FUN!!!! With the fact that there was no alcohol, little kids, old people, young adults and a grooms family who doesn't like to dance, Jonny had a bit of a "challenge".  But he truly was wonderful! He did a fantastic job of getting the party hopping, keeping the party moving, and making everyone feel comfortable, no matter if they were young, old or just sitting down!  He was even able to get the grooms family out on the floor a couple of times.  My five year old grandchildren (twins boy and girl) danced all night.  I asked my granddaughter later what was her most favorite part of the whole wedding (she was the flower girl) and she quickly said "dancing" The song selection was great.  Great mix of country, Motown and oldies!  Jonny got out on the floor and danced with us.  We all had so much fun.  I'm still sore from all the twisting and shouting I did! I received numerous compliments all night, and later after the reception everyone wanted to know what DJ we used.  I will be forever happy to recommend Split Second Sound. Thank you so very much for making my daughters special day, even more spectacular with the wonderful entertainment at the reception.

We were very happy with our experience with Jonny (and Sam) at our wedding.  He did a great job talking to us about our needs prior to the wedding (we met in person at Caribou one day and spoke to him before hiring him, and then we spoke with him on the phone again a few days before the wedding).  My husband is Polish, and he took the initiative to find a few traditional Polish songs to play at the reception, which Alex's family members loved.  Jonny did a great job interacting with the crowd and finding out what kind of music they wanted to hear.  Most of the crowd was dancing, even some of my friends that I very rarely see dancing at any party, which made me happy.  Everyone had a wonderful time, and we were having so much fun that we asked Jonny to stay an hour later.  He was very professional and fun, and I am glad that we hired him.  I would recommend him to anyone and would be happy to be a reference in the future if needed.

As a result, our DJs had an idea of what our guests wanted to hear throughout the night. There are two extremely memorable moments from that evening.
