We don’t just provide entertainment... We create it!

Vinny Esposito, the founder of Split Second Sound and the Game Day DJ for the Carolina Panthers, he has been providing music and entertainment as a professional MC/DJ and musician for 29 years. Performing for the first time at a July 4th party on Long Island in 1983, Vinny worked hard and became one of the busiest DJs in New York. Vinny and his wife Diane moved Split Second Sound to Charlotte in 1999 and quickly established their company as the premier DJ company in the area. Since moving to Charlotte, Split Second Sound has grown to a family of over 40 MC/DJ’s, party motivators, dancers and office staff. Each staff member has worked along side Vinny to see if they can match his drive for perfection before they can go out on their own. He leads monthly workshops to develop and advance the staff of Split even more. He has been invited to speak at colleges and event professionals in the industry, who look for his expertise in the business as a benchmark. Vinny is now one of the requested wedding DJ’s today, as people will check his availability before locking in a date. His passion, and intensity comes through every time you speak with him, and shines even more at his events. Very versatile in all styles and genres of music, there is nothing Vinny hasn’t seen or done, but he still loves to come up with new ideas for each event. He’s definitely not ordinary, so if excitement, energy and a lasting impression is what you’re looking for, this is it.

I had the pleasure of providing sound and music for the Cam Newton Foundation event at Memorial stadium for about 700+ kids from schools all over Charlotte. The foundation is built on giving back to kids and giving them a fair chance to succeed in life. Also hosting the event were Drex and Maney from Kiss 95.1. Even the NFL network was there and did an interview with Cam as he walked the field.... read more »

Nothing beats talking with guests and you find out that a past bride and groom, or others have used Split Second Sound for their wedding or some guests have been to a SSS wedding. In the classy setting of the Quail Hollow Country Club, another signature event took place. One of the best, mist heartful, thought out Best Mans speeches I have ever heard took place. From witty to funny, it captured the hearts and tears of almost everyone at the reception. What's amazing it was in between a heartfelt father of the bride toast and was another emotional, very powerful speech by the maid of honor, the sister of the bride.Truly, it's an honor to be invited into each and every family and get to witness such great moments and then to deliver a fun party after moments like that is as good as it gets.... read more »

One of the cool things of working with such a great organization like the Carolina Panthers is you get to work with the pride of the Panthers, the TopCats. It's a well run group of ladies that pride themselves in being excellent every move, every routine, every game or appearance. At the stadium, they had an intimate friends and family event where they performed some of their 2012 routine. At the end (picture) they sat around and watch a awesome recap video of the 2012 season.A few days before that I got to work another NFL Play 60 event, which is where the NFL encourages kids to get out and be active and it rewards schools for being proactive in this program. The Banks Trail middle school in Fort Mill was beautiful from the gym to the front office as the school is only 1 year old. (2nd picture)... read more »

Today, I had the pleasure of working (sound and music) with the Panthers and the Cam Newton foundation as Cam Newton donated $50K to 3 different schools. What was the cool part is how he had so much fun working with the kids that he went a 1/2 hour over his scheduled time. It was great to see his personality come out and have fun even though the team has been struggling and he has had some heavy criticism as of late.... read more »

It was so exciting to DJ before and in between the bands, TV broadcast and interviews with Coach Rivera at Bank of America stadium on Thursday April 26. Working on the mixes before hand and then playing the music for the Top Cats. An estimated 10,000 people showed up for the festivities.... read more »
