I sent an e-mail to Eric earlier this week thanking him for everything. We are extremely happy with the service received from Split Second Sound.  The Bar Mitzvah went great. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about the DJ and dancers. The motivators were energized from beginning to end and Eric is easy to work with. He is a credit to your organization. That is what business is all about. You put out a good product and you get referrals. We will highly recommend your company to anyone we know who has an upcoming affair, and if we decide to have another party for our daughter's Bar Mitzvah, we will use Split Second. You are more than welcome to use us as a reference. Keep up the good work.

Vinny and Eric were BEYOND AMAZING!!! I am extremely satisfied with Split Second Sound. I went to a wedding back in 2005 and the DJ was so energetic and awesome at what he was doing. Whenever I go to weddings, I always analyze the DJ and music (I am a musician and majored in music in college). I was blown away at how the DJ was getting people to interact and I really liked his song choices. I talked to him for a bit and got his card. I said that night to my friend, "Whenever I get married, I'm using this company. I don't care what city I'm in, I'm using them!!!" She thought I was crazy, but who's talking now! I kept that card in my nightstand drawer for 5 years! When I got engaged last year, I knew who to call first! I was praying that Split Second was still a company. Luckily, the company had only grown to be bigger and better!! Austin and I met with Vinny and we were sold in the first 2 minutes. We didn't even consider another DJ or entertainer. As picky and detail oriented as I am, Austin was in disbelief that I picked out a DJ that quick- especially since music was our number one priority for the wedding. Austin is also a musician and plays in a band, so he had a lot of opinions to music-wise. But, he loved Split Second Sound from the beginning and it was smooth sailing to the wedding. Split Second had me fill out a form to let Vinny know more about my family and Austin's family so Vinny could get a feel of how he would work with getting them involved. Vinny asked us a lot of questions and covered every detail imaginable. That made me realize that he really cared that our wedding night would be flawless and truly amazing. Vinny was always one step ahead of me and made the planning process a piece of cake. Literally, nothing went wrong. My wedding was way better than I ever imagined and I owe it to Vinny. I still have people coming up to me telling me it was the best wedding that they had ever been to and that my DJ was awesome. I recommend Split Second Sound to everyone, not only because they're genuine, fun, and smart, but also because they really know what they're doing, they take their job seriously, they are organized and knowledgeable, and they really care about your special day! You were with us every step of the way from the start of the process to throughout the wedding.  We thank you for reaching out immediately after we booked our event with Vinny, meeting with us on your day off to review event details, for reviewing the detailed timeline prior to the wedding, for graciously allowing us to make a last minute change to the parents' dance, and for keeping us informed  of where we were on the overall timeline during the event as needed.  We worked with you to set expectations for how long we wanted to perform our first dance and the hava nagila, asked that you please pronounce my father's last name correctly, and to ensure everyone had a blast.  You came through with flying colors, as the feedback from our family and friends has been nothing short of fabulous.  Everyone has said it was a fantastic, beautiful event.  Again, we thank you for playing a lead role in making this important milestone event in our lives such a wonderful success.

Our party was fantastic- and DJ Charlie was a big part of it's success! 

We were very pleased with Charlie from the start- calling a week before to introduce himself, checking in the day before for any special requests, and arriving to our home well before the event to set up. He was professional and courteous and did a great job keeping the music geared towards our teenage group. The music selection was excellent!

We would definitely recommend Split Second Sound to our family and friends who are planning an event. Grant's friends are still talking about how great the music was on Saturday- and teenagers can be hard to please :)

Happy New Year! I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent job you did with the ceremony and reception music for our wedding.  Rashaad and Neil definitely kept the party going and accommodated all of the many requests that our guests had. I can truly say that LeVar and Bradley rocked it out on Sunday! We had people dancing and grooving all throughout the event!  When we had to pause them to make announcements, guests were begging for more music. Both LeVar and Bradley were great to work with!! LeVar completely listened to my requests when we met at Discovery Place last Thursday and provided exactly what we wanted for the event.  They also showed up early and ready to go…alleviating any worries we had about traffic, etc. I told LeVar that Split Second Sound was definitely the Save the Day Vendor for this event!!  I wish we had just started with you in the first place, but the drama made it just a little more fun!  This is not the first time I have worked with Split Second Sound, nor will it be the last!!  Also of note was all your responsiveness in getting me all the paperwork I requested so quickly.  A great indication of a truly professional organization!

We thought that the entire process was detailed and efficient. I did not know that music had to be assigned for so many components of the wedding. The online form was very helpful in organizing it all. And, to add to it, our host and dj were amazing. Had us dancing from beginning to end! We greatly appreciate your high level of service.

When we met with SSS, we were immediately impressed. It was clear that you guys really know what you are doing. All your ideas were great and we loved the way the whole process was organized. Jonah definitely made it all about us and honored all our requests. We could not have chosen a better DJ than Jonah. He was the easiest to work with out of all my vendors and always responded to our emails or calls right away. Everything that we had discussed with him was pulled off seamlessly and exactly how we had wanted it. We told Jonah that most important thing to us was to have our wedding be a dance party and he certainly delivered. Everyone was on the dance floor all night and we received so many compliments about the DJ. We had guests of all ages and backgrounds (including several from South Africa and New Zealand) and they all had such a good time. One older uncle told us that if anyone didn't have a good time at our wedding they were dead! And our photographer called our reception a "rave-ception." I think that is a true testament to how great Adam and Jonah are at reading the crowd. The party never stopped! Thank you so much SSS, Jonah and Adam for such an amazing wedding. If we have anything to say about it, we will be seeing a lot of you at our friends' weddings in the future.

Split Second Sound did a WONDERFUL job at our wedding!  When I had previously spoke to the DJ Neil before the wedding I had told him the age range of the people that would be most likely to dance and he nailed it!  I was SO surprised at the amount of people on the dance floor!  When the night was over everyone was so bummed, they wanted to keep dancing!  The DJ and MC played "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey and asked everyone to surround us in a circle singing to us and the pictures from that are unbelievable!  We also had a monogram from the lighting on the floor and when the dance floor was so crowded you couldn't see it, they moved it to the thick trees in front of the dance floor which looked AMAZING!! Split Second Sound is the BEST!

Dennis and his assistant were phenomenal.  They listened to our needs and wants and still kept the party flowing throughout the night.  We had requested a couple of artists that were not “normal” wedding reception songs and Dennis was still able to weave them in without it sounding forced or out of place. He was beyond professional and we truly enjoyed having him as part of our night.

We absolutely LOVED Neil.  He did a fabulous job.  He listened to what we requested and kept everyone on the dance floor.  I was surprised by the number of people that danced the whole night.  I have no regrets in choosing Neil to DJ our wedding and would definitely recommend him in the future!

I just want to commend Jonah Pearl for his OUTSTANDING work.  He was effortlessly professional, classy, humble, and down to earth.  He really connected with my guests and made them feel important and involved in the reception.  I have worked with other DJs in the past, and he put every one of them to shame.  He was a perfect match for the wedding and reception.  Split Second Sound Family is very lucky to have such a class act and genuine person on the team.  I cannot stress how memorable and wonderful he made the most important day of my and my husband's lives.  Jonah took the energy of the party and kept it going for hours.  I will absolutely be using Split Second Sound's services in the future in my next travel to North Carolina.  We were very impressed and very pleased.  Planning a wedding from Cleveland, OH was pretty nerve racking, but I knew I was in good hands when I first got in touch with you, Michelle.  Jonah, I'm sure, has once again made Split Second Sound proud and he is a direct representation of what Split Second is all about.  Thank you for everything you and the family have done for me and mine.  Best of luck to continuing such a prosperous establishment and I will be in touch in the future for our next party in NC.  Thank you!!!

We wanted to take a minute to thank you for a OUTSTANDING performance Saturday at our daughters wedding at the Levine Museum of the New South.  At the end of the evening, it was rushed and we did not get a chance to thank Joe and Eddie personally. We would go as far as to say they made the party ! They made sure everything moved smoothly and got everyone up and dancing. Thanks for a terrific performance, you were wonderful !!

Dennis did a great job! He instructed our parents and bridal party on exactly what they needed to do during the intros. He was able to play our intro songs with only about a 20 minute heads up. He came around often to see if we needed anything. He played a lot of the songs on our list. And he played an extra 30 minutes for us. And I think at one point I gave him a look that I didn't like a song he was playing and he quickly transitioned into a new one :) Not sure we could have asked for anything more. He was super calm and just came across like he knew exactly what he was doing...we felt like we were in good hands. 

Jonah was great! He helped us to be prepared and kept us on track that night. We were able to enjoy the event and not worry about all of the details.  He was very personable and got along great with our guests.  They're still talking about him. We couldn't have asked for anything more; thanks Jonah!

I loved working with Steve and Adam. Steve was very prompt to respond to my emails and contact. I knew that when I met him that I had nothing to worry about on our wedding day. He had great suggestions and was so helpful to me. Since we had the wedding under a tent at the barn and then used the tent at the dance floor, I think we had a great turn out on the floor since it was not a hard surface. I wish the entire day could have been longer. I loved our meeting with Vinny. One thing that sticks out was the quote "just because people aren't on the dance floor doesn't mean they aren't having a good time". That rang back in my mind when a large group spent a lot of time around the fire pit that was farther away from the barn. I knew that was where they were comfortable and were having fun based on what he had said. I knew that we had put on a pretty good party when I saw nothing but smiles on everyone's face, including Steve's.

The event was perfect!  Neil and Kyle were awesome. What a great combination they are.  They were wonderful with the guests, everything ran smoothly and the music was great! It all went by so quickly..we weren't ready to go when the car showed up to take us to the hotel...and that is the sign of a great party!

Brigitte and I would like to thank you for all your help in planning our wedding.  Joey did an amazing job!  From sitting down with us and helping  select songs all the way through to handing out bubbles at the end of the reception.  The experience was awesome and with Joey's attention to details the perfect wedding became unforgettable to us and our guests.  We cannot thank everyone at SSS enough and we will continue to recommend your services to anyone who is in need.  A huge thank you again goes out to Joey, he did an awesome job and went above and beyond what we expected.

I know this might be a little late but I wanted to let you know that we really appreciate your company and how awesome everybody was from the moment we first met at the office all the way through the wedding. Our event was FABULOUS!!!!  Eric, Neil and Rashaad were amazing as were the party motivators.  We have not stopped talking about how great they were and how they kept the kids and adults engaged the entire evening.  In addition, they took control of the night and made my life so much easier so that I could actually enjoy the event. I was so thrilled with them that I cannot say enough good things or give enough compliments.

We just wanted to write a quick email thanking Rashad, and your company, for making our wedding day an absolute blast!

Not only did Rashaad play the music we asked, he kept the crowd upbeat while also facilitating the tedious details of the reception.  We had met with Rashaad prior to the event and felt as if he would do a great job- but he exceeded our wildest expectations.  After the wedding, the guests raved about how fun he was and how they had never been to a wedding where the D.J. worked so hard and added so much pizazz to the night.  He brings a sense of humor to his work, a trait that our crowd really loved.  Long story short, he was a hit with everyone at the reception (even the waiters and waitresses).

We are confident in saying that without Rashaad, our night may not have been so much fun- nor gone as smoothly as it did.
